Broadway: Wicked (Glinda) She recently returned from the National Tour of Cheers Live On Stage (Carla, Diane US) Off Broadway: Attack of the Elvis Impersonators, My Life With Albertine at Playwrights Horizons & Come Blow Your Horn at TACT. Other favorites include: Venus In Fur, Little Shop of Horrors, Noises Off, Boeing Boeing, The Odd Couple, James Joyce's The Dead, Anything Goes, Sex With Strangers, The Who's Tommy, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do. Tours: Wicked, Thoroughly Modern Millie & Hello Dolly. Laura made her feature film debut in Baptized By Desire. TV: Person Of Interest. She is also a published photographer, writer, and dog mom to her pet, Wally.
Carly Sakolove (Betty Jean)
Ms. Sakolove is happy to be back on The Kirk stage after having performed in "NEWSical the Musical" several times over the last 5 years! She was recently seen in the National Tour and Royal Caribbean companies of "Mamma Mia!" as Rosie. Carly's viral Youtube video "Broadway Divas Send in the Clowns" featuring her celebrity impersonations, prompted her to write two one woman shows which she has performed all over NYC and in theaters across the country. Favorite credits include Carol in "Girls Night: The Musical" (Off Bway, National Tour) Mazeppa in "Gypsy" (Sharon Playhouse) and Helena in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" (Speakeasy Stage). Boston Conservatory graduate. Carly would like to thank Tom and Michael for this "Marvelous" opportunity and she dedicates this performance to her loving family and her 'Dream Lover" Anne.
Amy TOPOREK (Wonderstudy)
Ms Toporek is beyond excited to be making her Off-Broadway debut in The Marvelous Wonderettes! Amy has had the opportunity to play the lead role of Tracy Turnblad in the National/International Tour of Hairspray and regionally all over the world from China to North Carolina to St. John in the Virgin Islands. Regional credits include Jackie Miller in the world premiere of Hit Her With the Skates (Hamilton Stage), Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (Walnut Street Theatre and Flat Rock Playhouse), Jan in Grease (North Carolina Theatre) and Betty Jean in The Marvelous Wonderettes (Flat Rock Playhouse). During the holiday season, Amy performs as a caroler with The Yuletide Carolers. Thank you to Tom, Michael and the Wonderettes team! AMY HILLNER LARSEN (Suzy)
Ms Larsen was most recently seen as Young Brenda in the Chicago premier of "First Wives Club the Musical". She has performed throughout the US with the first national tour of "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert" (swing/Asst. Dance Capt.), and the first national tour of "Hairspray" (Shelley/US Tracy). Regional credits include "Footloose" (PCLO/Forestburgh), "Hairspray" (Hollywood Bowl/NSMT), "Fiddler..."(Rubicon Theatre), and "Seussical" (First Stage Theatre). Amy was featured as Tracy in the RCCL "Hairspray" montage on the 66th Annual Tony Awards as well as a regular in Season 1 of "Gigi:Almost American" starring Josh Gad on Hulu. KRISTEN ALDERSON (Cindy Lou)
Ms. Alderson is best known for her Emmy award winning eighteen-year portrayal of Starr Manning on the ABC daytime dramas One Life to Live and General Hospital. She also originated the role of Kiki Jerome on General Hospital. No stranger to musicals, Kristen played the role of Molly in the first Broadway revival of Annie. Kristen's vocals were featured numerous times throughout the years on both One Life to Live and General Hospital. She proudly appeared in several of the ABC Daytime salutes BCEFA concerts. Kristen is featured on the albums One Life Many Voices and A Holiday Affair. She is extremely excited to be joining the cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes!
